Befriending Grief & Honoring the Dead

When we are alone, grief can be overwhelming. When we come together, we are capable of holding space for each other, while also creating space for ourselves to heal.

When relationships end, we get tangled in conflicting emotions and a lot of suffering. Looking at our interactions from a fourfold perspective (considering aspects from the physical, etheric, astral and I ) helps us identify the areas that actually ended and the ones that may remain.

When we can take care of the pain in the suffering areas, we may free space for love, and find ways for balancing self care with care for the departed.
There are many ways to honor someone who has crossed.
Come find yours.

This workshop will have a presentation followed by some sharing.
Sharing will be at the level of comfort of each one.
This event may be therapeutic, however, it is not intended as therapy, support group or grief counseling.

Sponsored by Anthroposophy Atlanta.
No cost to attend, donations gratefully accepted.

Untangling Parenting
As parents, we are usually caught up in the web of our own upbringing and we either repeat patterns without noticing it or we swear to NOT do the same and swing far opposite. I invite you to create your personal parenting style, identify your triggers, and break free from reactivity. That is only possible when you make free conscious choices. Come share your gifts and hear from others - building community while parenting during these difficult times.

Many people think Advance Directives are for those with a medical condition or at the end of their lives, but nobody can really tell when accidents may happen. Having this important conversation (and certainly hard) while planning for health care can be a tool to learn about your goals and values. The Advance Directive form, then, becomes a legal document to ensure your individual preferences are known and honored when you are unable to speak for yourself.
Come for an introductory session to hear more about it and start your process. If you have an Advance Directive already (or what used to be called a Living Will) and would like to update it, you are also welcome.
